01 / Consult

Begin with understanding.

You know your business through the work you do every day. Consultation gives that experience room to be heard and helps us move forward together with a shared understanding of the work at hand.

Our approach

01 / The ideal & why it matters

Listen before building.

A task that looks simple from the outside may involve several people, unwritten decisions, and tools that do not quite fit together. Listening to the people doing the work helps reveal what a software solution would actually need to support.

The purpose of this conversation is to understand your process and identify the issue that matters most. Starting there helps us avoid defining a solution around an assumption, or spending attention on a symptom while the underlying difficulty remains.

02 / What to expect

A conversation grounded in your work.

Walk through a real example

Spend 45 minutes with Cole describing a familiar process: how it begins, who takes part, which tools are involved, and how you know it is complete. The consultation is $58.

Notice where the effort goes

Look together at repeated entry, waiting, difficult handoffs, and information that is hard to find. Explain what takes time and what happens when a step is missed.

Confirm the main priority

Identify the issue you most want addressed and what a useful improvement would mean in practice. This gives our engineers a concrete starting point for their review.

03 / The benefits

A better starting point.

Shared understanding

Put the process into plain language, with room for the details and exceptions that shape your day.

A focused priority

Give the most important issue a clear place in the conversation, so attention is directed where it matters.

Context for engineering

Connect the technical discussion to your people, existing tools, and the purpose of the work.

04 / Moving forward

Bring a process you know well.

A recent example is enough: an inquiry becoming a job, a recurring report, or a handoff between colleagues. Think about where the process slows down and what you would like to work better. Leave confidential records and sensitive information out of the initial conversation.

After the consultation, our software engineers review the findings and consider a practical response. Any software implementation is scoped and priced separately.
